IT-Challenger’s technology platform consists of two major components working together: 

Business Intelligence Engine 

The IT-Challenger Business Intelligence Engine is a software bot that gathers information from various resources on the Internet. The Business Intelligence Engine “reads through” the content of each document that it finds to index the topics, keywords, and geographic locations that the document is relevant to.  

The Business Intelligence Engine then makes the relevant content available for searching using the IT-Challenger Search Portal Engine. 

Search Portal Engine 

The Search Portal Engine is the end-user facing component of IT-Challenger’s technology platform. It provides interfaces for users with different needs, including people looking for content, content moderators, and people who send content for publishing.  

End-users who search for information are given the tools they need to either look for content by entering a specific search expression, or to browse through document categories. It also provides an information publishing tool to allow enriching information gathered by the Business Intelligence Engine with information provided by human users.
